​Larry Hanley: President of the Amalgamated Transit Union since 2010. Hanley was one of the founders of New York’s Working Families Party in 1998. He subsequently organized a multi-union effort that successfully elected 515 labor union members and officers to the Staten Island Democratic Party - effectively putting Labor in charge.

Garrett Broshuis: Former professional baseball player in the San Francisco Giants organization. He was drafted in the 5th round of the 2004 Major League Baseball Draft after an All-American career at the University of Missouri. Broshuis is one of the lawyers representing former minor league players Aaron Senne, Michael Liberto, and Oliver Odle, in their lawsuit against Major League Baseball for violating wage and overtime laws.

She is a 2014 recipient of the MacArthur "Genius" Award.
