So many self-help books teach about how to obtain peace but only God can grant us into true peace. Peace is a person, Jesus the Prince of Peace. Today Pastor Tim relates what Scripture has to say about the Person of peace and the virtues of peace.

Of all the characteristics Jesus demonstrated to reveal the heart of God, compassion is the greatest. This must become the banner over the life of all believers. We must actively look for opportunities to reveal the compassion of God

Honest confession before God is critical. Pastor Tim reveals the power of living before God with an honest heart. This may be the key to the breakthrough you need.

Let's face it, we all have battles. How we approach them makes all the difference. Pastor Tim brings truth from II Chronicles 20 to help us win with God.

The significance of blood is found throughout the Scriptures. We find God commanding Israel not to drink the blood of animals, yet to poor it out on the altar as a substitution in the Old Testament for the forgiveness of sins so that they can be at one with God. At one, having been forgiven; sin is covered until the One comes who will shed His sinless blood for humanity. Jesus Christ, the Lamb slain for the sins of the world. His Blood shed for us to be at one with God.

Beginning a series on Paul's letter to the Philippians, Pastor Tim focused on two foundational questions every believer needs to have settled deep within their inner being:

• Who they are in Christ
• Whose they are

Today's service was focused on our part in global missions. Union Street Meeting House Mission's Ambassador shared updates on what God is doing to reach the unreached and we hear brief messages from our mission partners in Ghana (Pastor John Issahaku) and India (Pastor Kukku Mathew). A highlight of the service was a testimony by Pablo Chavez. What a blessing to hear from each of these partners in extending God's net to bring in the last days harvest. Pray for us as were move from being a mission-supporting church to a mission-sending church.
