In the penultimate episode of season one, I speak with Marley McGee. Marley is a student at U of O studying sociology. In our conversation we discussed growing up in Portland, her experience with education, sociology, as well as her plans for the future which include flight school and a French countryside bed and breakfast. In this week's episode, I speak with Laura DuBois. She loves to share the beauty of music with the general public. She is an active performer, chamber player, piano teacher and the music director at Unity of the Valley in Eugene, Oregon. She holds a BM in Piano Performance from the University of North Texas, a MM in Piano Performance from the University of Miami, and has completed all but her dissertation for a DMA in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Miami. Since 1987, she has enjoyed teaching piano privately, and has maintained a robust studio of aspiring pianists. Throughout all the years of her career, she has presented engaging and informative chamber music recitals. We had a great conversation, hitting all the right notes and I hope you enjoy listening!

In this week's episode, I speak with Ms. Barbara Marbury. She currently works for the Center of Multicultural Academic Excellence at the University of Oregon as the bridge programs coordinator. However, her story goes far beyond her current role in our community. Before coming to Eugene, she worked as an international flight attendant as well as a language tutor for speakers of Spanish and Portuguese.
