About this episode

With 3 years of AVL Digital Nomads, founder Ric Pratte turns his attention to United Digital Nomads for 2024 and beyond!

The AVL DN celebrated 3 years on Thursday, June 13, 2024. In this episode, we hear a bit of Ric's speech during the big event, then return to part 2 of our conversation which is a look ahead for what is in store for the United Digital Nomads.

Shoutout to Terra Nova Beer Co., where Ric and I capped our conversation for a delicious Mission Pizza lunch and a beer (or 2).

About this episode

The AVL Digital Nomads, the wildly successful Meetup group, is turning 3!

In this special episode, I (host Lp) have a conversation with founder Ric Pratte, reflecting on how it all began and the crazy success AVL DN has enjoyed in it's first 3 years as a Meetup group. I sat with Ric for over an hour for what is a 2-part conversation. Part 2, dropping soon, is a look ahead, zooming out the scope from Asheville to the globe, which is where the “united” part of the United Digital Nomads comes in.

About this episode

Meet Cynthia Phelps, a vibrant, positive force to be reckoned with. I had the privilege of sitting across the table from Cynthia at a DN lunch event recently. I believe everyone has a compelling story, and Cynthia’s is certainly no exception. Listen in to learn how she has responded to her dramatic and at times traumatic experiences by taking what’s been handed to her and turning it into something beneficial for herself and those around her.
