United Masterclass

Join Haider Rubbani and Rob Blanchette for a special edition of #TheMasterclass. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is seemingly still in the job but he is a dead man walking.

The lads discuss an angle not previously spoken about in the media - which manager Ronaldo would want to join Manchester United.

Much has been made of his signing and Haider & Rob discuss how the next manager will be brought in solely to get the most out of him in the next 2 years in order to win titles.

They go through the managers that United should be looking at due to their preferred systems, tactical setup and how Ronaldo will or will not fit into this system.

Topics:

1) Ronaldo unhappy at current situation

2) The Glazers

3) Rodgers & Rangnick

4) Ten Hag & Pochettino

5) Zidane

6) Conclusion

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is surely on the brink now after yet another performance which lacked tactical nous, cohesion or solidity. City hardly had to get out of second gear as they passed United into submission.

United were chasing shadows all game as Pep showed Ole what a well drilled side looks like. Cancelo was the stand out player on the pitch as he bagged 2 assists with an own-goal by Bailly and a goal by Bernardo sealed the 3 points for the blue side of Manchester.

We are now going into the international break and there should be more clarity on the manager position. Ole's job is untenable after an embarrassing set of results has left the mood within the fanbase extremely toxic.

Topics:

1) The result

2) MUFC 1st half shape

3) MUFC 2nd half shape

4) When will Ole be sacked and who are the candidates?

Join Haider Rubbani and Rob Blanchette for gameweek 9 on #TheMasterclass. Manchester United were utterly humiliated 5-0 in the worst performance that we’ve ever seen against our bitterest rivals, Liverpool.

Jurgen Klopp’s men cut through United like a hot knife through butter as they went 2-0 up in the first 13 mins after a series of comical defending from the home side’s 4.

Salah cemented his position as the best player in the world with a fine hat-trick as the boos rang out at Old Trafford, with fans leaving in masses at half-time.

A dark day for United fans and it’s time for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to leave the football club. His position is now untenable and United need a top manager to unlock this squad to its full potential.
