Instead of our usual monthly Choral Evensong, as the choir are taking a well-deserved summer break, here is a Sung Compline, or Night Prayer.  Compline is a lovely reflective way to end the day with prayer, as as the service changes very little from evening to evening, even when live, it makes perfect sense to re-listen as often as we want to the online service.

Welcome to our Online Morning worship for Sunday August 2nd as we look at a well known story about Jesus from a different angle.  There will also be a reflective evening service of Compline this evening, instead of our usual Evensong, as the choir are on their well deserved Summer break.

Welcome to our Online Morning worship for the seventh Sunday after Trinity.  Today we have a sermon from Rev'd John Hall, who will (sadly for us) be retiring to Devon shortly.  We wish John and Sara every blessing and pray that their move will go smoothly.  Our readings today are from and Rosemary Bennett and our prayers are contributed by Mary Cookson.  Thank you to Tricia Rees-Jones, not only for her wonderful musical contribution, but also for re-recording some of my words due to a technical problem with my recording.  And thanks again to Adrian Moore for his assistance in organising and recording readers and intercessors, and to Will Rees-Jones for putting the whole thing together.
