Stuart Pearson and Jimmy Greenhoff (with considerable help from Lou Macari) scored as United won their first major trophy in nine years on a day when Wembley was drenched in glory.

Daniel and Rob get in the mood for the FA Cup third round by recalling a pulsating Manchester derby in 2012. United put the holders City out of the competition with a wild 3-2 win. Paul Scholes came out of retirement, one of many unlikely plot twists before and during the game, while Wayne Rooney scored twice in a stirring, fraught and occasionally hilarious victory.

Daniel and Rob enjoy a Christmas cracker from 1995, when United overwhelmed the runaway leaders Newcastle in sub-zero temperatures at Old Trafford. Andy Cole scored a spectacular goal with his first touch against Newcastle since leaving them a year earlier, and Roy Keane capped an immense performance in two different positions by scoring the second.
