As we consider the life of David and the journey that led him to the throne, we are reminded that seasons of desolation are not without purpose. David’s story continually invites us to consider how even in difficult seasons, the Lord is drawing us closer to His presence and forming deeper spiritual maturity within us, for our good and for His glory.
