He uses a great example of letting personal will get in the way of following God's command—the story of King Saul keeping some of the spoils of battle and getting a good chewing out by the Prophet Samuel.

Today's show is another early talk given by Unity cofounder, Charles Fillmore. His talk is titled "Look Toward Heaven Now" given on March 2, 1913. Mr. Fillmore uses the story of Abraham from the Hebrew Bible as the basis for his talk.

Today's talk is a later lesson given by Charles Fillmore. This was given at the end of February in 1940.  It is titled "Spiritual Unfoldment Makes Man Master." This is a perfect segue as we move forward from Easter and let the "Christ" in us blossom and bloom.

Easter will be here this coming Sunday, so it is fitting that this week's lesson be an Easter lesson. I have chosen the earliest Easter talk in my files, and it's from Easter Sunday morning in 1912. It is titled "The Resurrection: Christ Is Risen." As we conclude the last week of Lent, I hope this period of spiritual preparation has been beneficial for you and you can totally resurrect "the Christ" in you!

Today's lesson is from a Wednesday evening healing service that Charles Fillmore conducted on January 24, 1923. This lesson has been labeled "The Second Coming of Christ" and is most appropriate as we are fast-approaching Easter.

Today's talk is titled "Cleansing Power of Exulted Ideas" from Sunday, May 27, 1923. Charles Fillmore uses the story from the Book of Isaiah where the King Uzziah improperly offers a sacrifice in the temple and is struck with leprosy. The job of offering sacrifice was the priest's job. Mr. Fillmore uses this story as a springboard to look at how our power of Will can get in the way of trying to fulfill another Faculty of Mind.
