Easter reminds us there is always a new day. And the light we seek is coming from within ourselves.

Jesus’ disciples bailed on him when he was arrested and facing execution. Sometimes our lives are stripped bare until there’s nothing left but us and God, alone.

At the beginning of what we call Holy Week, Jesus cursed a fig tree and turned over tables in the temple. His friend Judas started negotiating with authorities to betray him.  Mama said there’d be days like this.
