In our passage the apostle Paul addresses a question that some in the church had asked him. Verse one says, Now concerning the things of which you wrote to me. In our passage, Paul gives wise counsel for both single persons and married persons that will help us clear up some of the confusion we might have about these things. First of all, let's look at Paul's----I. Godly Counsel for Single Persons--II. Godly Counsel for Married Persons

We live in a world that says anything goes and the limitations of what is socially allowable are continually being pushed further and further out towards the bizarre and shocking. What our culture is saying is that your body is your own and you have the right to use it or abuse it however you wish and with whomever you wish. What the apostle Paul tells the Corinthians is the very opposite.
