HES Academies invite you for a Family Engagement Broadcast this Friday June 11, 2021 at 3PM titled “Safe Driving” with Chief Dave Brogan, the Chief of the Fire Department of the City of Dearborn Heights who will go over some of the safety tips for driving safely this summer, especially driving by teens.  Chief David Brogan has been with the fire department since February of 1992. In that time, he has served as a Firefighter, Pump Operator, Lieutenant, Captain and Fire Marshal.

This presentation is brought to you with the help of ACCESS ASAP community coalition, which strives to educate and empower the community against substance abuse.

In this Universal Academy Family Engagement Session, information will be provided about students preparing themselves for the upcoming high school years. They will be able to know the requirements needed for each grade level and are able to decide what classes to take, other than their core requirements. They will be familiar with graduation requirements as well as being aware of the state exams required to take each year.   This session will be presented by Mrs. Saleh, the counselor at Universal Academy. She graduated from the University of Michigan Dearborn and has been working in schools all over the world for the past 13 years.
