The Universe aligned this week when the Sun moved into gate 5, which is part of the Channel of Rhythm, and since this is the Universal Law for the month I just had to talk about it.

This is a fairly prominent channel in our family dynamic and I’ve had a lot of time to observe how it works. For those who have this channel defined in their charts, they most likely thrive in creating and maintaining habits and routines that align with them. For those of us who don’t have this but live with someone who does-we can benefit too!

It feels like we are now fully in the swing of the holiday season, so this is another friendly reminder to observe and tap into your own rhythm so that you can thrive through the end of this year. Use the planets, use your design, use the flow of whatever feels right for you and enjoy this time of year!

🎶How in tune are you with your own rhythms? I have a confession, I only recently-like in the last 4 years, really got in tune with my natural rhythms and began accepting them. It was difficult because we most definitely live in a world where we are encouraged to hustle, hustle, hustle. Here’s the thing though, we are not built to be doing this constant productive output all of the time. We need to go into winter mode just like the trees and animals around us.

I’m going to give you the basics of this law, and challenge you to really look at your own rhythms. Are you giving yourself the space to rest and recover? Or are you pushing yourself to burnout and having a difficult time creating in a fun and playful way? I’ve personally burnt myself out and broke my body in the process, forced to sit on the sidelines and reflect- I’m not going back if I can help it! I too am in a period of rest and I’m doing only what lights me up, which is why I’m diving deep into this law. In fact, I’m going to post this and then go down and have a cup of tea and read, because I honor my rhythm and you should too.

🦃Here in the U.S. we are gearing up to celebrate Thanksgiving, a day where we all intentionally put ourselves into a state of gratitude…at least theoretically. It’s a beautiful thing and ties in quite well with the Law of Attraction.

If you have ever read a single thing about the Law of Attraction, I’m guessing you have heard that “the attitude of gratitude” is a key thing. It’s true, this law marries very well with the feeling of gratitude because gratitude gives you what I call a hard reset. It mentally brings you into the present moment, emotionally it makes you look around and settle into a deep feeling that you can connect to easily and physically it can calm your nervous system momentarily. It’s a powerful vibration that stabilizes our frequency.

It’s fantastic that there is a day where we can celebrate this high vibe concept, but how often do you drop down into a state of gratitude throughout your day, week or month? If you want to attract all the good things that are meant for you, this is an easy first step!

I’ve been contemplating the Law of Assumption a lot this week, perhaps as much as the Law of Attraction which is really saying something. I had some initial thoughts about which part of Human Design I wanted to associate this with and after a lot of back and forth I have decided that I had to talk about Gate 20.

This particular gate is in my Unconscious Mars, so it’s a big one for me and I’ve really tried to dive into this Gate of Now. In my opinion, it goes really well with the Law of Assumption because it is very projected, very mental, very much quieting the mind down so that you can let go. In order to fully utilize the power of the Law of Assumption, you have to let go of the mental chatter that can fall into the shadow of this gate, which is Superficiality.

This is one of the gates that you can really have fun contemplating and also is a good gate to notice when you are flowing in the shadow. I have even given you my mythological association to help you fully fall into the vibration of this gate.

A couple of months ago I caught the tail end of a trend surrounding the Law of Assumption. Being ever curious, I had to look the law up and get the scoop. The law is exactly what it sounds like, if you assume something will happen then the Universe will align to make it so. Simplistic, but also not so much.

Here are my thoughts around the Universal Laws: I tend to think that there are 12 Big Ones, much like the 12 Olympians of Ancient Greece. I think the Law of Assumption falls quite nicely under the Law of Attraction, because the Law of Attraction is energetic like the other laws, but the Law of Assumption is mental.

I’m guessing if you have been hovering around the concept of manifestation, you have probably heard about the Law of Assumption, but you have used different terminology. As for me, I would have used the terms “identity shifting” or perhaps even “future projecting”- same concept, different wording. Basically, by assuming or believing that an outcome will happen, you will project that out into the world with your big brain and that frequency will begin to align things to bring that outcome in. The hiccup may be whether or not you are just mentally projecting vs. shifting your entire frequency. Both need to happen, it just depends on the unique style of your manifestation. On a side note, how cool is it that this was a trending topic?!

A few months ago I heard a Human Design term that I had yet to encounter: the Magnetic Monopole. It was said in passing but something inside of me zinged to life. So I did a bit of research, contemplated a bunch and decided that I was gonna make this concept shine!

According to Human Design, the Magnetic Monopole is where your unconscious and conscious charts combine to make this super powerful magnet inside of you, it’s like your own personal Voltron lions forming to make you a mega attractor. How freaking cool is that?!

This is something that I’m going to let roll around in my mind and body to contemplate and integrate, but I’d love to know if you have ever heard of the Magnetic Monopole before. If so, what’s your take on it? For me it resonates at the same frequency the Law of Attraction did when I first heard about it over a decade ago.

🧲Lots of people know about the Law of Attraction, but how many of you have heard of the Law of Repulsion? Never heard of it? Well, I assure you that it is very real. It may not be considered a “law” per se, but energetic repulsion can mess up your vibration big time!

You see, due to the Law of Polarity, the Universe requires oppositional balance. So if we are mega magnets able to attract all the good stuff, we can be equally repulsive and give off not-so-hot vibes too. I’m sure you can think of many people who give off a repulsive vibration and make you want to back away slowly.

Here’s the trick, we can offset a lot of our repulsive vibration by getting our mindset in check. That may not always be enough to get you back on the road to attracting, but it is a good first step. As humans we have these incredibly powerful minds that can do fantastical things, we just need to calm it down a bit so we don’t obsess over what it is we want and in the time frame we want it.

The Throat Center is where we express ourselves in all ways creatively. Whether your Throat Center is defined or undefined, whether you speak, sing, write, draw, etc- you are expressing your unique voice into the world via this center!

When you home in on your Throat Center and discover your personal way of expressing energy, you can surrender and let the Universe do its thing!

🧲Like many that are at this level of personal development, I came into this area of the Universal Laws via the Law of Attraction. I read The Secret and was enamored by the concept of co-creating my own life, but after a couple of years of not living in Hawaii I had to really dive into this law and do a little experimentation. 

The Law of Attraction is powerful, but it doesn’t just work when we say our affirmations a thousand times or make beautiful Pinterest boards that depict our epic dream life. This law isn’t nearly as mental as you may have thought. We are all attracting what we are experiencing all of the time. That may hurt to hear but it’s true. We need to shift all aspects of our frequency transmitter in order to really co-create what we want at that high level we all want to be at. 

There are 3 basics aspects of this Universal Law I want to share: 

1- Like Attracts Like. Period. There is no “working” with this law, it’s a like the law of gravity, it’s going to work no matter what. 

2. You need to start looking at your Iron Man core and evaluate all aspects of your frequency: mental, emotional and physical.

3. Be aware of what you are actually attracting so see where you want to go. You have to be brutal with this, because you are already attracting things you may just not want to admit it. #sorrynotsorry.

There is a lot of chaotic energy running through the Collective, and sometimes it’s difficult to be still and tune into your intuition. In fact, if you have never tapped into yourself and listened it could be even tougher to distinguish between your own voice and others. That’s where Human Design helps us, it gives us information on our own internal compass through authority!

🧬Each of us has a unique blueprint of how energy runs through our body, and we all have an authority which is the jumping off point to begin listening to your intuition. If you have ever had your Human Design read then you know what your authority is, but if you haven’t then grab your birthdate, time and location and go run it now!
