Universalism Against the World episodes

  • More Thoughts on the Exclusivity of Christ
This episode takes the form of a quick commentary on my previous episode ("No One Can See My Face and Live") followed by a short asynchronous exchange between Jason and me (selected messages from the Signal voice app). This exchange covers similar ground to our longer discussion, "My Lord and My God." The episode centers around the exclusivity of Christ and the deceptions of the enemy.

  • Assorted Thoughts on Natural Theology
Reflections on natural theology as itself a sort of forbidden fruit: Creation from nothing versus pre-existence, and, of course, hell and the hope of universal salvation. Equity Equation by Jason Schweizer: https://www.instagram.com/reel/CoNO-yNAKYG/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=

  • Considering Catholicism and the Possible End of UAW
In this episode I try to explain my reasons for considering Catholicism and why I may stop podcasting altogether. • My Lord and My God: Seeking to Understand the Incarnation
A longform exchange between Jason and myself in which we try to understand the necessity and nature of the Incarnation.
1 Corinthians 8:6, NASB: "yet for us there is only one God, the Father, from whom are all things, and we exist for Him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we exist through Him."

Christopher Langan: hology.org A better formulation of the argument I tried to make around 48:49: P1. Creation has to be joined to God in order to exist at all
P2. Whatever is joined to God is joined to God eternally since God is without change
    C1. Creation exists necessarily
P3. There has to be a tzimtzum/withdrawal//kenosis/atonement event
C2. This atonement event has to be within creation
C3. God must incarnate within His creation in order to perform this atonement event, hence the necessity of His incarnation.
