When Jesus washed the feet of his disciples at the Last Supper he showed us his love, invited us into fellowship with him, and commanded us to extend that love to one another. 

As he closes out his letter to the early church, St. Peter exhorts us to live humble lives before God and before each other. But this path of humility can only be followed by looking to our humble king.

Pastor Marcus continues our Lenten Sojourn series with a message about community. When we love each other we are witnessing to God's action in the past and the reality he has in store for the future. 

In this text, Peter exhort us to love the church and love those who wrong us but he doesn't expect us to do it in our own strength, but invites us to draw strength from the grace poured out for us in this cross and given to us in our baptism.
