Tässä jaksossa vieraana on humanistisesta tiedekunnasta valmistunut Ville Hakamäki, joka opiskeli arkeologiaa Oulun yliopistossa ja valmistui filosofian tohtoriksi vuonna 2018. Hänen väitöskirjansa käsitteli Pohjois-Suomen myöhäisrautakautista asutusta, ja hän on suorittanut useita arkeologisia kaivauksia Pohjois-Pohjanmaan ja Kainuun rautakautisilla kohteilla. Nykyään Hakamäki työskentelee arkeologina Pohjois-Karjalan museossa Joensuussa. Tässä jaksossa kuulemme mikä on parasta arkeologin työssä sekä millaisia muinaisia löytöjä ja kaivauksia Hakamäki on tehnyt.

In this episode our guest is Tuomas Kenttä who studied Biomedical Engineering at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Oulu, and graduated with a master’s degree in health sciences in 2006. He started his career as a PhD student working for a cardiology research group. After receiving his PhD in 2012 Tuomas spent a year as a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University.
At the moment Tuomas works as a physiological algorithm expert for the Oulu-based, globally recognized health technology company Oura known for the Oura Ring. Tällä hetkellä Haverinen työskentelee Kuntaliitolla sosiaali- ja terveysalan erityisasiantuntijana. Kuntaliitolla hänen työnsä liittyy ikääntyneen väestön palveluiden järjestämiseen sekä omaishoitoon. Haverinen on kasvattanut alan asiantuntijuutta myös toimiessaan Oulun kaupungilla vanhustyön johtajana 13 vuoden ajan.
