"If you have a friend driving 80 miles an hour in a 35 on a winding road, are you going to let him miss the curve because you don't want to offend him? I mean, he's been driving for a long time, and you're just the passenger who's imposing on him for a ride."

NO! If your friend is being reckless, dangerous, and about to drive off a cliff and destroy his life, you're going to say something because you care and want him (and you!) to be alive.

Telling someone the truth (with love) is the highest form of respect you can offer a person.

When you tell the truth, you never have to remember what you said.

How many times have you heard -- or said -- that in your life? More than likely either you or the person you were asking wasn't paying attention...

The short answer is Yes. The follow-up question is, "But to what?"

Studies prove it takes between 20-25 minutes to refocus on the thing you were distracted from. Attention, like time, is a currency.
