In this episode, I talk about why so many of us are afraid to fully go after the life we want because we associate hard work, ambition and hustle with burnout.
I share what this week brought up for me, how my past experiences with burnout made my body panic when I had a lot on my plate, and the perspective shift that helped me redefine what hustle actually means.
For me, hustle is no longer about forcing, overworking or abandoning myself. It is about taking fast, aligned and imperfect action instead of wasting so much energy overthinking, doubting myself and trying to make everything perfect.
I also open up about learning to release control, stop obsessing over how everything needs to happen, trust the ideas and desires placed on my heart, and allow myself to take one step at a time.
In this episode I cover:
· Why perfectionism and overthinking can be more exhausting than the action itself
· How to take messy action and treat mistakes as feedback
· Why you do not need to know the entire plan before you begin
· The difference between giving over control and giving up
· Why asking for help does not take away your independence
· How to stop seeking permission from others to rest
· Why your dream life does not require you to abandon yourself
· How to shift from seeing problems to seeing possibilities and opportunities
You can be ambitious and rested. You can work hard and still take care of yourself. You can go all in without burning yourself out in the process.
