Welcome back to WABRB!  In this episode we will talk about the author and background of the story for Unlikely Animals by Annie Hartnett.  This book takes place in a fictional town, based on a real area in New Hampshire very close to where Jen & Tiffany grew up!  Being born and raised in the state, we were shocked to learn of a secret hunting club that that sits on 26,000 acres of land. This park is actually bigger than 60 percent of New Hampshire towns and is “the most exclusive game preserve in the United States” stocked with non-native game such as, Elk, Boar, Buffalo, Antelope and lots of secrets!   
This book takes a historical dive into the park with a fun fictional story of Emma Starling returning to her small town home. But when Emma returns, best friend is missing, her father is ill and dying, her brother is fresh out of rehab, and she can't escape her mother's judgement.
