Welcome back to WABRB! Join us for episode 1 of our spooky October book - A Head Full of Ghosts by Paul Tremblay. We will be sharing about the story and inspiration for the story, as well as some background about the author. We will also dive into the first half of the book.
When fourteen-year-old Marjorie starts showing signs of acute schizophrenia, the lives of the Barrett family are flipped upside down. Doctors are unable to help Marjorie, and her father turns to a local Catholic priest for help, who believes Marjorie is suffering from demonic possession. The story is told from the perspective of Marjorie's eight-year-old sister, Merry.
With Marjorie's father being out of work for over a year and hospital bills piling up, the family agrees to participate in a reality show about Marjorie's experience.

Jude and Noah are inseparable twins - Noah can always be found with a sketchpad and is forming a crush on the boy next door. His sister, Jude, is the outgoing one. By the time they are 16, they are barely speaking to each other. Something happened to change their lives in challenging ways. In order to mend their relationship, and their world, they need to find their way back to each other.
