Valentino and Amazon team up to battle counterfeiters!  I begin the episode with some brief history into the Valentino fashion house, then I conduct my legal analysis and discussion of the newly filed (June 18, 2020) patent and trademark infringement (among other claims) lawsuit, Amazon, Inc. and Valentino S.P.A., v. Kaitlyn Pan Group, LLC and Hao Pan.  Then I conclude the episode by discussing the unfortunate recent trend of fashion retailers  and landlords suing each other and Valentino in particular as they are trying to get out of their Fifth Avenue store lease early.
