Jackson and Owen recap week 3 of the NFL season headlined by the Dolphins blowout of the Broncos 70-20. The duo debate who is in a worst state moving forward the Broncos or the Bears? We gave our players of the week and then previewed week 4 with matchups to watch including the Lions @ Packers, Dolphins @ Bills, and Ravens @ Browns. Jackson and Owen ended the show by each giving their top 5 best teams in the NFL as we stand going into week 4. 

For Episode #3, Owen and Jackson brought two sources for the show. Saadi Bualaq and David Traugott. Saadi and David are friends of Jackson and are fans of the Vikings and the Steelers, respectively. Both of them gave great insight into the show and were a great source of information you might not think of for week 2 in the NFL. The podcast started with a week 2 headline that was Bengals/Chargers 0-2 start. + What do the Jets do at QB? The group is not worried about the Bengals slow start, as this same thing happened a year ago, they started 0-2 in 2022. The group said that Zach Wilson is still going to be the current starting QB for the New York Jets because of the lack of options that are available on the trade market.The podcast transitioned into a week 2 recap, recapping the Eagles vs. Vikings, Jaguars vs. Chiefs, Steelers vs. Browns, and our Players of the Week. David specifically had a lot to say and talk about in relation to the Steelers vs. Browns game. After that we started previewing week 3 of the NFL season talking about the Chargers @ Vikings, Saints @ Packers, Eagles @ Bucs, Rams @ Bengals, and a fun segment- surprising 2-0 teams (Falcons, Bucs, Commanders) pretender or contender? The show ended with a great thanks to our guests for coming on the podcast.

For the second episode of our Unlimited NFL podcast, Jackson and Owen brought on two sources, Asim Ali and Alex Fernando. Asim Ali is a current Computer Science student here at UNL while Alex Fernando is the Assistant Director of Recruiting at the College of Journalism and Mass Communications. They are both very knowledgeable and passionate about the NFL, and football in general. The episode starts off with an introduction of the guests and they both let us know who their favorite team is. Asim went with the Kansas City Chiefs and Alex chose the Los Angeles Rams. To follow that we moved into a week 1 recap. The first topic we hit on was the Aaron Rodgers injury and the potential impact it will have on the Jets playoff hopes and the outlook of their season. The common theme is that injuries are apart of the game of football, and Zach Wilson needs to step up in the loss of Rodgers. We talked about Browns vs. Bengals, Dolphins vs. Chargers, and 49ers vs. Steelers games and what stood out to us. During the second half of the episode, we did some game previews for some of the fun matchups in week 2 of the NFL season. Eagles vs. Vikings, Jaguars vs. Chiefs, and Patriots vs. Dolphins are the games that we dived into. In the final segment of the episode, we went around the table and each gave our NFL players of week and a short reason why we think they performed so well. Asim chose Tua Tagovailoa, Owen chose Matthew Stafford, Alex chose the entire Dallas Cowboys defense, and Jackson chose Tyreek Hill. We really appreciate Alex and Asim for coming on and giving some great insight on what's to come this week in the NFL. As a group we were hoping that there would be some more well-played and fun games to watch this week because in week 1 there were some defensive battles and tough games to sit through. After each of the games that we previewed for week 2, each of us gave a prediction on the result of the game and why that was the case. We hope you enjoy episode #2!

Jackson and Owen start the show by giving game previews of some of the matchups that stand out to us in Week 1 of the NFL season. We talked about the Chiefs vs. Lions, Bears vs. Packers, 49ers vs. Steelers, Dolphins vs. Chargers, and Jets vs. Bills. After that we gave our divisional predictions finish from 1st place to 4th and gave our playoff prediction teams from the AFC and NFC. We each gave a Super Bowl prediction as well. To finish the show we predicted some award winners including Coach of the Year, Comeback Player of the Year, Rookie of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and Most Valuable Player.
