Overview

In this study, we examine the biblical foundation for the global division we witness today—not as a result of politics or nationalism, but as a prophetic consequence of rejecting Jesus Christ. Division was foretold by Christ Himself and continues to manifest in every sphere of society. This lesson challenges you to see beyond surface-level conflicts and recognize the spiritual line that has been drawn: belief or unbelief in the true Messiah.

    1. The Division Jesus Declared
    “Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division.”– Luke 12:51
    • Jesus anticipated that belief in Him would cause households and nations to divide.
    • Peace is not possible without the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6).
      • 2. A Spiritual Battle, Not Political
      • The red horse in Revelation symbolizes a global removal of peace—spiritual unrest spreading.
      • National conflicts mirror deeper spiritual opposition to God’s plan.

        “There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings.” – John 10:19
        • The split began in Israel, and it continues globally—between those who accept Christ and those who don’t.

                • Division (διχάζω / dichazō) – to cleave asunder, to cause dissension
                • Reconciliation (καταλλαγή / katallagē) – a change or exchange; restoration to favor
                • Seed (σπέρμα / sperma) – singular in Galatians 3:16, referring to Christ
                  •  Application
                  • Ask the Lord to reveal any areas where you have placed hope in the wrong systems—national, political, or religious.
                  • Pray for discernment in understanding God's prophetic Word in light of today’s events.
                  • Share the gospel, not nationalism. Christ—not borders—is our banner.
