Episode 9 takes a glimpse at a period in time where Statik G was trying to escape the street life without having to leave, while pursuing his new passions in music. Truly working his way up from nothing, the young artist finds himself not just at a cross roads in life, but in the crosshairs. Never one to hesitate to make bold decisions, Statik ultimately dances out of the fire and comes out clean once again... or does he?

Episode 8 fully explores the origin story of Statik G and takes it back to where it all began: the darkness. In this mental Godless void, post-suicide, Derrek falls back in with the wrong crowd as his friend groups combine into one, and start to take over the town like a batch of angry wasps. All around him people are getting jumped, robbed, shot at and stabbed.. and he embraces the fire as his protection.

Episode 7 explores the mind of Statik G through his experience in broken systems including jail and legal systems, big pharmacy, alcohol and mental health, and much more while he reimagines a world where people are more important than profits.

Episode 6 dives even deeper into the concept of death by exposing the fact that life is death, in its duality. Or that death is simply a form of birth, in its polarity. If that wasn't enough to riddle your brain, Statik G claims to have the memories of multiple selves, experiencing the "multiverse".

By opening his 3rd eye, experiencing God and translating the message of scriptures from multiple cultures and time periods from Horus to Krishna to Christ, Derrek is able to see his life and death from new lenses, exploring them here. In the middle of this episode, Statik G continues his journey through the cosmos within by waking up in the hospital and being thrown into the mental home. Sounds about right.

Episode 5 asks the age old question: What happens after death? In this episode, the Unlock the People podcast explores the concept of death and taps into many theories and concepts, while also exploring Statik G's personal experience with a death following his suicide.
