Description:
Losing someone to physical death, moving away, betrayal, or even having to walk away yourself is freakin' tough. Grief is real and I have learned, through recently losing someone I had a very deep and rare connection with, that we must allow ourselves to feel what we feel during these incredibly tough and painful times.
It's natural to be sad. It's perfectly fine to be upset or angry. It's OK to wish you could have one more hug, one more day with them. Allowing yourself to acknowledge, accept, and address all the feelings that come up, when they come up, will save you from suffering long term.
Giving yourself the grace, understanding, and compassion to even run away for a bit can also be important. As long as we do not run away for good, we can release the emotions that come up once we take the time to let them. No matter how many times they they come up, no matter how long they last, giving ourselves the permission to let them be okay is how we can heal...in time. Maybe not today or tomorrow, but it will gradually bring healing.
In the last half of this video, I offer a card reading I did for myself the morning of this video. I have feeling some of it will resonate with you as well. If not, feel free to disregard what does not fit.
I love you. I honor you for listening to this. And my heart and loving energy go out to you for your healing from your loss.
Sending you love, light, and hope, always.
