Outstanding primer for understanding chronic illness
If you or someone you love is suffering from a chronic, unexplained illness or you just want to understand better how our bodies work, this is a great book to start with. Dr Rawls combined his personal experience with chronic illness together with his scientific lense on life to make our complex system more understandable. I have listened to his book twice now and continue to pitch up more details every time. I would also recommend How Can I Get Better? and New Paradigms in Lyme Disease Treatment to gain validate the perspectives that you will gain from this book.
