Tenebrous pushed Plagueis so far into the metaphysical realm of the Force, that Plagueis doesn’t have much use for the scientific side of it. Sith are about extremes, and when you go towards one extreme, you lose the usefulness of the other extreme, with no healthy balance in-between.
