As a line of business general manager, Rand has scaled businesses beyond 100 million dollars profit and loss and has managed organizations with offices in 15 different countries around the world. Dr Knight completed a post-doctoral fellowship with the National Science Foundation, working as a staff scientist for the American Institute of Biological Sciences on the National Ecological Observatory Network. He holds a Ph.D. and a Masters of Science in ecosystems analysis from the University of Washington, Seattle as well as a Bachelor's of Art in Environmental Studies from Middlebury College in Vermont.

John Fernandez works as the Training Manager for Consortiq. He has extensive experience working as a contractor for a leading U.S.-based UAS flight controller manufacturer, where he provided product support for civilian and government customers as well as flight testing and project management of new products and features. He has served as a civilian police officer in positions including: criminal investigator, narcotics investigator, SWAT operator, and organized crime investigator. After leaving civilian law enforcement, John deployed to Kosovo and Jordan as a law enforcement instructor in support of Department of State and Department of Justice operations. John also has an extensive background in information technology and has worked for several Fortune 500 IT companies. He has approximately 10 years of UAS operations experience, which includes a deployment to Afghanistan where he gained over 1100 hrs of flight time experience on the Tigershark platform.
