This isn’t your typical episode about wellness tips, positive affirmations, or simply changing your mindset.
In this episode, I’m sharing three powerful shifts that genuinely changed my relationship with anxiety and helped me stop getting caught in the endless cycle of overthinking and spiraling.
We’ll explore what it means to become the observer of your thoughts rather than identifying with every one of them, where our thoughts actually come from, and how understanding the mind can completely change the way we experience life.
I’m also sharing how meditation helped me cultivate awareness and presence, and why reducing my social media consumption has been such an important part of finding more peace in my everyday life.
This isn’t about eliminating negative thoughts or forcing yourself to be positive. It’s about learning to relate to your mind differently, reclaiming your attention, and realizing that you are not every thought you think.
Growing up with ADHD in the 90s wasn’t just about being forgetful, disorganized, or distracted. For me, it came with a deep sense of shame. I spent years believing there was something wrong with me because I struggled with things that seemed easy for everyone else.
In this episode, I share how ADHD shaped my childhood, why punishment often made things worse, how those experiences affected my nervous system, and what I’ve learned through therapy, reparenting, and raising a spirited child of my own.
This isn’t an episode about productivity hacks. It’s about self-acceptance, healing, and learning to work with your brain instead of against it.
If you’ve ever felt like you were “too much,” “not enough,” or fundamentally different, this episode is for you.”
In this episode I’m talking about my struggle with social media comparison, jealousy, and the quiet nervous system exhaustion that comes from constantly feeling we should be we should be doing “better” or more. From Pinterest homes to bikini pics, I talk about how I reframed my anxious thoughts through radical self acceptance and taking care of my mental health.
This episode is about comparison culture, self love, nervous system overwhelm, and learning how to admire others without abandoning yourself in the process
TRIGGER WARNING : Talking about cancer. This episode is raw look into the hardest year of my life. My husband’s cancer diagnosis, our house flooding, chronic stress, fear, grief, and the slow unraveling that followed.
I talk about what survival mode actually felt like, how disconnected I became from myself, and the small, imperfect steps that slowly helped me find my way back to joy, safety, and self trust.
My ADHD was showing and I forgot to introduce myself. Start here to understand what this podcast is about and if it resonates - welcome, I already love you ❤️
I’ve been seeing social media content talking about “living in awe” and it encourages a lot of admiring sunsets, coffee, touching grass, but I feel like where it’s missing the mark is that YOU are apart of the beauty and awe of this world ❤️
This episode is not anti-hobby! It's about rejecting perfomative hobbies done for external validation and reconnecting with what you genuinely enjoy. I think in today's world social media can blur the line between genuine enjoyment and curating an identity in hopes of gaining approval. Get your notebooks ready, today’s activity is getting to know yourself and living with radical acceptance of who you are.
