What does it mean to take offense? If you look up the definition of the word, offended, you will see most dictionaries say something about anger and resentment. As we get in to this, you may be thinking, like me, aren’t we allowed to be angry? What about righteous anger? Aren’t Christians supposed to be angry at people for certain things? We will talk about all these things and more through this series. I used to think it was our duty as Christians to take offense, I’m beginning to think maybe we should be the most unoffendable group of people on the planet. At the heart of it, if we forfeit our right to anger, then we deny ourselves and when that happens, our focus shifts to others.
