We had already talked about sophisticated storage requirements for SAP S/4HANA projects and how Azure NetApp Files provides one of the best and most performant options for the most demanding workload. However, flexibility was sometimes an issue. With the new flexible service level ANF allows you now to independently configure storage capacity and throughput, optimizing costs and performance by right-sizing based on your needs. In episode 238 of our SAP on Azure video podcast we talk about next wave of AI. Last week we heard from CJ about a cool usage for the office of the CFO, combining Semantic Kernel, Azure AI Agents and Code Interpreter. This time we have also a known guest with us: Amit Lal. Amit was one of the first to publish SAP related apps to ChatGPT, he released several Agents for Microsoft Copilot and he always has amazing demos to show for our customers. There is now even a nice action figure of Amit available -- well, at least virtual.

While I think this is going to be a great integration of the UI for AIs, I can see a lot of other activities happening when it comes to SAP and AI. Week by week our colleauge CJ is publishing great articles on LinkedIn about AI can work with SAP, from Agentic AI Workflow for SAP to Leveraging Semantic Kernel + Azure AI Agents + Code Interpreter for CFO Office. In episode 235 of our SAP on Azure video podcast we talk about DSAG TechXChange 2025. We are recording this session on Tuesday. Next Friday (so actually one day before we publish this video), we have 5 different hands-on labs at the DSAG TechXChange 2025 event. You might ask: well, why do I care? I am not even attending? Or if you are, you might not have been able to sign-up, because all the sessions are fully booked.   Well, the cool thing is that all the sessions are document and published on GitHub now. So if you were not able to attend, you can still take a look at the tutorials, which guide you through the process. In most cases, you can easily substitute the setup that we are providing for the event, with envorinment that are available in a trial. With this we hope you can also experience the benefits of integrating SAP with Microsoft. To give you a glimpse of what we have prepared, I have some of the contributors for the sessions with us today: Martin, Martin and Michael from SAP. In episode 234 of our SAP on Azure video podcast we continue our coverage of SAP and Microsoft Fabric integration. We really see a huge interest from customers on how to integrate SAP data with Fabric. Luckily the open mirroring platform functionalities make the integration quite easy. In the past few episodes we already had partners like dab and Simplement who offer out of the box solutions for this kind of integration, but also Interdobs and Powerdobs who showed how to integrate via SAP Datasphere. This time we start with the partner asapio followed by Theobald who also have worked on an out of the box integration of SAP data into Microsoft Fabric.

Some episodes back we started to talk about SAP and the integration in Fabric using Open Mirroring. One of the key highlights there was the platform aspect. Fabric allows partners to plug into the Open Mirroring concept and bring their solutions. In following episodes we had already partners like dab and Simplement joining us, talking about their solution. Today we want to continue to look at partners who extend the integration of SAP solutions into Fabric. Interdobs and powerdobs are interesting partners in this regards, because they designed a Datasphere-based open mirroring service offering. Diviating little from classic SAP and Microsoft topics, we take a look at GitHub today. Millions of development projects are done on GitHub. In most cases -- when I look at my own projects -- it is just about pushing data to a GitHub repo and that's it. Our SAPonAzurePodcast website is a small exception, where we do some automation. But you can do much, much more. Christian Lechner from SAP is THE expert on this for me. He has not only done some amazing things with Terraform and BTP, but also automated almost everything in his repos on GitHub with GitHub Actions.
