Lv: Rūtas sirds sitās ātrāk, kad viņa stāvēja pie Gaujas upes.
En: Rūtas heart beat faster as she stood by the Gaujas river.

Lv: Saulains jūnija rīts solījās būt silts un dzirkstošs.
En: The sunny June morning promised to be warm and sparkling.

Lv: Viņa, Edgars un Martins bija ieradušies šeit uz Līgo svinībām.
En: She, Edgars, and Martins had come here for the Līgo celebrations.

Lv: Zemes švīksmoņās sajauca puķu un ziedu smarža ar vieglu upes straumes čalām.
En: The scent of flowers mixed with the gentle murmur of the river's stream.

Lv: Rūta bija rūpīgi ieplānojusi visu.
En: Rūta had carefully planned everything.
