Cs: Jana a Petr stáli na Karlově mostě.
En: Jana and Petr were standing on Charles Bridge.

Cs: Byl to krásný jarní den.
En: It was a beautiful spring day.

Cs: Most plný turistů.
En: The bridge was full of tourists.

Cs: Lidé fotili a smáli se.
En: People were taking pictures and laughing.

Cs: "Podívej, Petr!
En: "Look, Petr!

Cs: Perfektní místo na selfie," řekla Jana a ukázala na sochu svatého Jana Nepomuckého.
En: A perfect spot for a selfie," said Jana, pointing at the statue of Saint John of Nepomuk.

Cs: "Skvělý nápad, Jano," odpověděl Petr.
En: "Great idea, Jana," replied Petr.

Cs: Vytáhl mobilní telefon.
En: He pulled out his mobile phone.

Cs: Jana a Petr se postavili před sochu.
En: Jana and Petr positioned themselves in front of the statue.

Cs: Usmáli se.
En: They smiled.

Cs: Ale hned, uprostřed jejich dokonalého úsměvu, prošel muž v klobouku.
