(Of all the forensic cases that I have covered, what happened to Junko Furata is one of the most disturbing)
Junko Furata was an innocent high school girl who was senselessly tortured, raped, and murdered by her own classmates. Even more shocking- there is evidence suggesting parents and even police knew about it and did nothing. In this episode- Prof. Drane explores the psychological phenomenon he has dubbed "Lord of the Flies Syndrome", and other psychological theories as to how this unspeakable carnage was allowed to happen
