In Episode 2 of the "Unpresentable Parts Podcast: Eve Edition," hosts Jasmin and Sam delve into the complexities of being women of color and how their faith intersects with their identity. They introduce the episode with a focus on Eve, the first woman in the Christian faith, and explore the often misunderstood and stigmatized aspects of her story. They share personal anecdotes to discuss the unpresentable parts of their lives, including struggles with self-worth, marriage communication, and parenting challenges. The conversation also touches on the broader societal issues of race, gender, and the expectations placed on women within and outside the church.
They argue that Eve's story is not just about her failure but is a masterclass in resilience and the grace of God. By examining Eve's role beyond the traditional narratives, they highlight her significance as an equal partner to Adam and challenge the negative connotations associated with her being a "helper." The podcast emphasizes the importance of viewing Eve through a lens of empathy and grace, acknowledging that her experience reflects the universal human struggle with temptation and redemption.
Jasmin and Sam's discussion is a call to reconsider the narratives we accept about biblical figures, especially women, and to seek a deeper understanding of their roles in the faith. They advocate for unity among women, urging listeners to support each other and recognize their shared potential for impact, in line with God's original design. The episode concludes with an invitation for listeners to reflect on their own "unpresentable parts" and to find hope and strength in the stories of women like Eve.

Unity among women is crucial, and they should support and encourage each other.
Women should embrace their original design and not let societal expectations diminish their value.
Preaching gender equality is important to counter the enemy's scheme to divide women.

Episode 0: Unveiling the Unpresentable
🌟 Welcome to the very first episode of the Unpresentable Parts Podcast, where we dive deep into the conversations that challenge, inspire, and sometimes even unsettle us. Alongside our special Eve Edition, we're on a mission to make the "unpresentable" presentable. 🌟
In this inaugural adventure, join hosts Tim, Samenthur, Titus, and Jasmin as they lay the foundation of what promises to be a journey of discovery, laughter, and real talk. 💡 What makes you uncomfortable? What topics are difficult but need to be addressed in our fellowships? That's where we hope to go (however long this lasts).
But it's not all serious - expect to learn something unexpectedly fun or interesting about each host, from our varying cultures and experiences as we walk with Jesus, proving that we're all a mix of light and shadow, strength and vulnerability.

Join us as we embark on this journey together, making the unpresentable, presentable.
Welcome to the Unpresentable Parts Podcast, where our mission is to make the unpresentable… presentable. Our hosts are Tim Blake and Titus Walelo. They are long time friends (and oddly share the same birthday). Both Tim and Titus are ministers by way of unique routes to their callings. They are hoping to have some great conversations, learn some things, and have some fun all the while.
In the last few years, fueled by the isolation of the pandemic, it's come to light that there are difficult and oft ignored topics that have needed to be addressed in our churches. Titus and Tim embark on a mission to bring those conversations to the forefront. Born from 1 Cor 12.23-24 where the Bible tells us that our "presentable parts need no special treatment," we're here to learn how to deal with the ‘Unpresentable Parts' of our faith journey.
But that's not all! We're thrilled to introduce an additional part of the family, the 'Unpresentable Parts Podcast: Eve Edition,' hosted by Samenthur Neptune-Blake and Jasmin Chery. This edition promises to bring new perspectives, focusing on the stories and experiences that resonate with women navigating their faith and life's unpresentable parts.
We look forward to getting many discussions together. You can get a taste of what we're cooking up in the "Soon Come" portion of our website.
