An NBA Sunday schedule of two game sevens to determine the final teams to compete in the Conference Finals began at 12:30 pm with the New York Knicks hosting the Indiana Pacers. Despite the home team winning each of the first 6 games the injury woes that plagued New York along with a record-setting shooting percentage from Indiana set the pace and tone to send New York home. I give love to both sides and highlight certain Knicks who somehow despite losing the series won big going forward. Then the night game in which the defending Champion in the Denver Nuggets hosted the young and hungry Anthony Edwards and his Minnesota Timberwolves was much closer and competitive. While the T-Wolves knocked off the defending Champs I discuss why what I saw from Ant-Man won't be enough to win going forward. After a suspicious sports show hiatus I’m back! Many will say the Kings elimination ended the sports coverage. (I’ll deny it) No matter the cause for the pause it’s time to get back to work. I give my thoughts on this seasons NBA year long awards including Sixth Man of The Year, Most improved Player, and of course the league MVP. While I think they all went to the wrong person I understand some of the decisions made. Then a look to the Friday Night of NBA including two of the leagues brightest stars. I ask the question who is the more exciting player to watch this post season Jalen Brunson or Anthony Edwards? And although ANT MAN’s meteoric rise may very well make him the new face of the league I ask if ironically he is the “PLAN B”.
