Hello everyone, sorry for my time away. Join me today as I, once again, overcomplicate simple answers and overexplain questions on purgatory, the soul, and Mortalism. A special 3-in-1 break from my usual questions as I answer a friend's questions with long-form answers that would be annoying to type all out.
Today on unqualified answers I'll be answering the question, "where are human souls 'stored.'" If you don't have time to listen to the episode, I can sum it up in 4 words, we do not know. Bam, easy. But it's never that easy with me and you're welcome to listen along as I stumble through a few ideas that have sprung up, what a cursory reading of scripture says, and why some theories have fallen out of favour. Thank you so much for listening in 2022, and I wish you a happy New Year and hope to see you again in 2023 (unless I record before then, in which case I'll just see you soon).
Hello everyone, today I'll be tackling a question that has been getting a lot of traction in recent years, specifically, "Is there any text to infer how God would want us to interact with modern technology if at all." I honestly thought I had basically answered this around the 6-7 minute mark and somehow kept going for another nearly 15 minutes, so that's fun. In this episode I go from broad to specific to try to really get a grasp on what the Bible can teach us about being online.
Hello everyone, welcome to episode 4 where I try to parse out what makes a cult, a cult, and a religion, a religion. The question was phrased "what separates a cult from a religion?" It's a good question and one I've thought about, not that, that will come through here as I ramble.
Hello everyone, welcome to episode 3 where I try to tackle the question, "should a gay person get married to someone of the opposite sex that they do not love?" Join me as I turn a quick "no" into an 18 minutes episode of my uninformed but sincere views on gay Christianity.
This episode includes talk about suicide, if you or anyone you know needs help please reach out to your national suicide hotline.
Today I'll be babbling words that may come together to form an answer to the question, "Why do people refer to the Christian God as a man if we were made in God’s image and half the people on Earth are not a man?"
Welcome to the new episode 1 of the Unqualified Answers podcast wherein I will be trying to address the question, "Is the goal of Christianity to make everyone a Christian?"
This is the first and last episode before we begin answering questions. However, before getting there I thought it could be fruitful to share with you where I'm coming from as I answer these upcoming questions.
