Some days require us to hold everything.
Big decisions.
Small details.
Long-term responsibility.
Immediate needs.
One moment you’re making a decision that carries weight, money, and impact.
The next, you’re coordinating rides, schedules, and dinner plans down to the minute.
This Sacred Pause Weekly is for days like that.
Not because something is wrong, but because there’s often no space in between.
In this short episode, I invite you into a few quiet minutes to slow your body, soften your mind, and return to presence without journaling, fixing, or figuring anything out.
No pressure.
No performance.
Just space to breathe and listen again.
This pause is for you if:
Your mind feels tired but you’re not exactly “exhausted”
You’ve been switching gears all day without stopping
You feel a little disconnected and can’t quite explain why
You don’t need answers, you just need a moment of quiet
You’re welcome to come exactly as you are.

As this year comes to a close, many of us are feeling the need to release what no longer fits.
In Chinese astrology, this is the Year of the Snake, a year of shedding old layers, beliefs, and patterns. And as we move toward the Year of the Fire Horse, the energy begins to shift toward creativity, movement, and forward momentum.
In this video, I guide you through a Sacred Page practice to gently close out this year, letting go of what you’re done carrying and making space for what’s next.
This is a simple creative practice.
You don’t need to be artistic.
You don’t need to have clarity about the future.
Just a few quiet minutes and a willingness to listen inward.
What you’ll need:
• Paper
• A pen, pencil, or marker
• Scissors, glue stick
Thank you for being here.

This is a story about grief, overwhelm, and the invisible mental load so many women carry, especially during the holidays.
The first Christmas after my mom passed away, I tried to recreate the prime rib she always made.
I thought it would make things feel “normal.”
Instead, it became the moment everything hit me at once.
The pressure to know what to do.
The grief that shows up when you least expect it.
The overwhelm that comes from trying to hold everything together.
And the truth?
I didn’t need the perfect recipe.
I needed a pause.
A moment to hear myself again.
In this video, I share that story and the simple 1-minute practice that helped me feel grounded enough to move forward.
If you’re feeling overloaded, anxious, or stretched thin this season… I hope this moment of quiet helps you come back to yourself, too.
COMING SOON: The Sacred Doodles Starter Guide
Are the holidays starting to feel heavy, loud, or like one more thing you have to “get right”?
You’re not imagining it. Midlife makes the pressure hit differently.
We’re carrying the mental load, the emotional tone, the traditions, the expectations… and somewhere along the way, we stopped actually experiencing the season.
In today’s Sacred Pause Weekly, I’m sharing:
✨ Why presence matters more than perfection
✨ Why the imperfect, chaotic moments become the ones we remember
✨ And the truth no one talks about:
You can’t feel present when your nervous system is overwhelmed.
I’ll walk you through a simple, two-minute creative regulation practice you can do right now to help your body settle, soften, and come back into the moment. No journaling, no pressure, no “being creative.”
Just one tiny exercise that helps your system shift out of overwhelm.
I’m also sharing the story of one of our most imperfect Thanksgivings and why it ended up being one of the most meaningful.
If you’re craving a gentler, more grounded holiday season that actually feels like you, this episode is your invitation to reset.
The Real Reason You Feel Lost in Midlife (It’s Not What You Think)
If you’ve been saying things like:
“I don’t know what I want anymore.”
“I feel disconnected.”
“I don’t even recognize myself.”
…you’re not alone and there’s a surprising reason this happens in midlife.
In today’s episode, we’re talking about the real cause of that lost, foggy, “Who even am I anymore?” feeling so many women experience in their 40s and 50s. And no, it’s not a midlife crisis.
You’ll learn:
I also share a personal story from my own life. A Friday night pizza moment that showed me just how easy it is to disappear into routine and forget what I actually want.
If you’re feeling lost, confused, or unsure of your next chapter, this episode will help you understand what’s going on and where to start.

Somewhere between caring for everyone else and holding it all together, you’ve lost touch with you.
In this first episode of Sacred Pause Weekly, we explore what a Midlife Rebrand really means, not fixing yourself, but remembering who you are beneath all the noise.
Today’s Sacred Pause Practice:
1️⃣ Write down what you remember — the pieces of you that feel lost or forgotten.
2️⃣ Draw a heart over your words as a gentle reminder: she’s still there.
This simple creative practice helps you reconnect with your soul, quiet your mind, and begin to feel like yourself again.
Remember: You don’t need to start over. You just need to remember her.

You’re checking the boxes. Showing up. Getting it all done.
So why do you still feel so tired?
In this episode of Unravel Here, we’re naming the kind of exhaustion that sleep doesn’t fix—the soul-deep tiredness that comes from carrying roles, emotions, and expectations for decades.
It’s not just about rest. It’s about release.
We’ll explore what your tiredness might actually be trying to tell you—and why honoring it could be the beginning of a very real shift.
This one’s for the women doing it all… and wondering why they still feel so worn out.
“You’re not who you were — but you’re not yet who you’re becoming.”
Sound familiar?
In this short and soulful episode, Jamie unpacks the power of being between stories — the uncomfortable, sacred space where midlife women often find themselves when the old life no longer fits… and the new one hasn’t fully arrived.
You’ll learn:
This isn’t just a phase. It’s a portal.
Let this be your reminder:
You’re not behind. You’re being called forward.
The rest? It’s still unwritten. (cue Natasha Bedingfield)
Have you spent most of your life being the responsible one?
The one who held it all together, followed the rules, and made everyone else comfortable?
In this short and powerful reflection, Jamie shares what happens when you start to question the identity you've built around being “the good girl”—and what unfolds when you finally let her go.
This episode is an invitation to listen to your own unraveling and ask:
What part of the “good girl” are you ready to release? You’re not selfish for wanting something more honest, more aligned, more you.
You’re not broken.
You’re becoming.
From the publisher's feed
You’re not who you used to be.
But you’re not quite sure who you’re becoming either.
