Unraveling The Words of Yahweh

In this week’s study, we will continue in Chapter 2 verse 14, the Church of Pergamos

Pergamos was a city in the southern part of Mysia, the capital of a kingdom of that name, and afterward of the Roman province of Asia Propria. Some of the pagan temples that were seated there are the temples of Jupiter and Diana, of Aesculapius [healing] and Venus. It is called "Satan's seat" by John, which some suppose to refer to the worship of Aesculapius, from the serpent being his characteristic emblem. Others refer it to the persecutions of Christians, which was work of Satan.

14  Stumbling block = check this word out, “skan'-dal-on” A “scandal”; a trap stick (bent sapling), that is, snare (figuratively cause of displeasure or sin).

Fornication = “porn-yoo'-o” From “por-nay”; to act the harlot, that is, (literally) indulge unlawful lust (of either sex), or (figuratively) practise idolatry:

Do you realize that there are Churches, with their traditions, place stumbling blocks in front of their assemblies? I can think of the Roman Catholic Church and their bogus system. Even to the point where the Pope thinks he is a god. I won’t even discuss the Masons, Moose and all those other secret lodges, where they hold their silly secret rituals of Salvation, blood rituals etc.

Even though this church, Pergamos, was commended for not renouncing their faith in the very lap of Satanic worship, they had allowed false doctrines into their church.  What was outside the church had invaded the inside. 

15  Nicolaitanes = A sect mentioned whose deeds were strongly condemned. They may have been identical, with those who held the doctrine of Balaam. They seem to have held that, it was lawful to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit fornication, in opposition to the decree of the Church rendered in Acts 15. The teachers of the Church branded them with a name, which expressed their true character.

16           Repent = “met-an-o-eh'-o” From “met-ah” and “noy-he-o”; to think differently or afterwards, that is, reconsider (morally to feel compunction). 

Again we see the warning to repent. Remember that this is spoken to the churches and to Christians. We cannot forget that. We must repent of our sins and our allowing sin in our churches without rebuke. If we do not do this then the Lord will come and rebuke us with the Word. Yahweh helps us if we do repent when we are rebuked. The Lord will fight against our enemies with the Word of His mouth, and we can also use the Word to defend the faith and teach sound doctrine. But when it is we who are living in sin, the Word turns around and rebukes us. The Holy Spirit convicts us through the Scriptures of our sin. We must then repent and turn from our wicked ways. Then the Lord can bring times of refreshing.

In this week’s study, we will continue in Chapter 2 verse 13, the Church of Pergamos

Pergamos served many idols, such as Zeus (god of the sky and ruler of the Olympian gods, Greek), Dionysius (god of altered states, wine, ecstasy), Athene (goddess of war, architecture, astronomy, science, etc) and others. It had many temples and altars. But this did not mark it out as Satan’s throne because all the pagan cities in the Roman empire at that time worshipped idols, including the other cities mentioned in Revelation 2-3. 
It was the prominence of its worship of Aesculapius (god of healing and of medicine) or Asclepius as saviour, healer and preserver that made Pergamos distinctive in this regard. Asclepius was a god of healing and health. He had an impressive temple, the ruins of which can be visited in Pergamos today. People used to sleep in that temple with the idea that Asclepius would give them a dream which would be interpreted by his priest telling them how to be healed. The spring beside the temple was said to possess healing powers. Devotees would offer sacrifices or leave gifts for healing. Small terracotta body parts to represent the injured area or limb have been found near Asclepius’ temple in Pergamos. Small wonder that Pergamos has been called the Lourdes of the ancient world. 

I discuss the teachings of Balaam and how those teachings are alive today within the church community

14   Hold the doctrine of Balaam = Teachers like Balaam who seduce the true Israel into sin. Balaam showed Balak how to lead the children of Israel astray. See Num. 22:2, and Num. 31:16. In the same way there were false teachers at Pergamos who taught that Christians might join the idol feasts and in heathen fornication. 
Who taught Balak to cast a stumbling-block before the children of Israel = The word “stumbling-block” properly means anything over which one falls or stumbles, and then anything over which anyone may fall into sin, or which becomes the occasion of one’s falling into sin. 

I continue my ranting on the fact that we have false ministers standing in the pulpits teaching the doctrines of Balaam.

In this week’s study, we will continue in Chapter 2 verse 12, the Church of Pergamos

12) angel = This messenger could either be “Antipas [like the father] or Caius”.

Sharp sword with two edges = This title is used partly to show, that the only weapon this church, and the true ministers and members of it had, to defend themselves against the growing corruptions of antichrist, who in this interval rose up by degrees, and was revealed, and came to the height of his power, was the word of Yahweh, the Scriptures of truth;

Heb 4:12 For the word of Yahweh is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 

So the sword from the mouth of Yahshua Messiah is the Word of Yahweh. Yahshua is the Word.  The Bible is not a dead book. When it comes forth as truth it judges men’s thoughts and attitudes. This happens when we read the Word and learn from Yahshua, the Word made flesh. It convicts us of our sinful thoughts and motives. Ultimately Yahshua Messiah will also judge the nations for He is coming to rule and judge. 

13) know thy works = once again, nothing can be hid from Him.

Satan seat = throne. Pergamos was a city very much given to idolatry, here Satan reigned while it was Pagan, and so was a fit emblem of the idolatrous Church of Rome.

And thou holdest fast my name = They had professed the name of Yahshua Messiah; that is, they had professed to be his followers, and they had steadfastly adhered to him and his cause in all the opposition made to him.

I go into a rant comparing the world today and how Satan is the prince of this world. PLEASE READ John 15 where Yahshua Messiah tells us that we are His friends IF we follow the commandment set forth by Him and that we are NOT of this world, but of that Heavenly world. I go into some events of today showing how Satan tries to control the souls of the unbelievers.

2Co 4:3  But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: 
2Co 4:4  In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of the Messiah, who is the image of Yahweh, should shine unto them.

In this week’s study, I finish the study on the Church of Smyrna (myrrh). I begin with verse 10.

Behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison = Or, shall cause some of you to be cast into prison. He had just said that their persecutors were of the “synagogue of Satan.” He here represents Satan, or the devil - another name of the same being - as about to throw them into prison. This would be done undoubtedly by the hands of men. But still Satan was the prime mover, or the instigator in doing it. It was common to cast those who were persecuted into prison. It is not said on what pretence, or by what authority, this would be done; but, as John had been banished to Patmos from Ephesus, as tradition teaches us, it is probable that this persecution was raging in the nearby places, and there is no improbability in supposing that many might be thrown into prison.

• Yahweh even uses Satan sometimes to test believers.  Look to the story of Job for proof of that. 
• Do Not Be Afraid, Yahweh Will Take Care Of You .Yahweh not only tells them not to be afraid but lets them know ahead of time that suffering is coming. We need not worry about tomorrow. It is all in Yahweh’s hands if we have placed our faith in Him. 
• We don’t even need to worry about what we will do when persecution comes, when we are falsely accused, when we must stand up for our faith.  Yahweh will not allow us to perish eternally.  He may allow us to die, but not perish..  Those who stand firm to the end will be saved. 
• Be Faithful To The Point Of Death We know that we must have faith to be born again but do we realize that we need to be faithful even to the point of death? We need to continue in the faith once for all delivered to the saints.  We have great examples of martyrs who stood up for the Faith in the past. 
• The Bohemian reformer John Hus was a man who believed the Scriptures to be the infallible and supreme authority in all matters.  He died at the stake for that belief in Constance, Germany, on his forty-second birthday.  As he refused a final plea to renounce his faith, Hus's last words were "What I taught with my lips, I seal with my blood."  (Source Unknown) 
• Our continued faith in the true gospel, the true Savior, is evidenced through our faith, even in persecution and death. Some would call this works. James calls it evidence of faith. Faith is the victory that overcomes the world, as the song says. 

Verse 11: Again the Lord gives the promise that as a faithful Christian you can only die once. After that the second death cannot touch you. This was a great promise to this church, many of whose Christians did suffer physical death because of their faith in Christ.  The second death will not hurt them.

In this week’s study, I begin with verse 9 in Chapter 2, the Church of Smyrna (myrrh). I focus on the ‘synagogue of Satan’.  Now many times you have heard me talk about positives and negatives in Yahweh’s Word. Here we see a negative! Keep in mind that as Christians we are a church within ourselves, that ‘ek-kelsia’. We are the Positive! Therefore this synagogue of Satan may be a physical building, but it also can be a spiritual person! People that their desire is to destroy Christianity and Christians!

It is very likely that these so-called Jews were the ones who were persecuting the church at Smyrna. These Jews were not people of Yahweh. They may have been circumcised in the flesh but not in the heart.  True believers have first covenanted with Yahshua Messiah and allowed Him to be their Savior and Lord. 

It is interesting how in the act of the death of Yahshua Messiah, He got rid of the divisions represented in the Temple and Tabernacle.  In the typology of the Temple there was a division between (1) Yahweh and man (2) priest and the people (3) Jew and Genitle (4) man and woman.  When Yahshua Messiah died (1) the veil in front of the Holy of Holies was rent in two thus giving man access to Yahweh Himself (2) He made us all a "holy priesthood" (1 Pet. 2:5&9) (3) since the Temple today is the body of the believer there is no more inner and outer court separating Jew from Gentile -- we can all become children of Yahweh because of Yahshua Messiah (4) instead of only male priests, today men and women are now free to approach and serve Yahweh.

Then I go into a rant, showing that there are men within the world that flat out hate Yahshua Messiah and Christians. Men like George Soros. I explain some of the events that Soros is in involved with. And his Love for the philosopher Karl Popper and his book “The Open Society and its Enemies.” Popper proposed an alternative that won over the young Hungarian immigrant: an open society recognizing that no one has sole custody of the truth; others’ views must be respected and people must learn to live together. (TRULY THIS IS OF SATAN!)

Another man that has a hatred of Yahshua Messiah and Christians is Bill Gates. I explain his comment on how vaccines can control the world population.

These examples and so many more are the works of Satan’s Synagogue!

In this continuing study I take a look at the Rapture Doctrine. Is this a Pre-Trib, as taught in most mainstream Churches are do Christians go through the Tribulation Period? I compare Thessalonians to Matthew 24 along with Revelation. I venture into Paul’s writings to explore what he has to say, along with what Yahweh says in Ezekiel. I also ask the listeners to grab a pencil and paper as we create charts for comparison as we get deeper into this study. 

In this Part 20 I continue in the Book of Ezekiel (EL Strengthens) Chapter 13 verse 16. So what does Yahweh tell us in scripture about those false ministers that teach their congregations to fly away?

Verses used in this study, 

16  To wit, the prophets of Israel, which prophesy concerning Jerusalem = this construction puts “the prophets” in apposition with the last words of verse 15 “they that daubed it.” The words may be taken as an address: Ye prophets of Israel &c.

and there is no peace, saith Adonai Yahweh = not to the wicked; nor to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, who listened to the false prophets; nor to the false prophets themselves.

“Repeat a lie often enough and it becomes the truth”, is a law of propaganda often attributed to the Nazi Joseph Goebbels. Among psychologists something like this is known as the "illusion of truth" effect.

17 Likewise, thou son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people = The false prophetesses;

and prophesy thou against them = declare their prophecies false; warn the people from giving heed to them; and foretell what shall befall them for deceiving the people.

18 sew pillows to ... armholes = rather, elbows and wrists, for which the false prophetesses made cushions to lean on, as a symbolical act, typifying the perfect tranquility which they foretold to those consulting them.

make kerchiefs = magical veils, which they put over the heads of those consulting them,

will ye save ... souls ... that come unto you = Will ye haul after souls, and when they are yours (“come unto you”), will ye promise them life?

Note once again in verse 17 the word ‘air’. In the Greek this word is ‘ah-ayr’ NOT ‘oo-ran-os’ as in Matthew 6:26. BIG difference in the Greek manuscripts! Keep in mind that Paul was under the influence of the Holy Spirit, so Paul was NOT talking about a meeting in the sky!

This could be part of the plan of “the mystery of iniquity”.

In this week’s study, I we begin with verse 8 in Chapter 2, the Church of Smyrna (myrrh). A city on the coast of Ionia, at the head of the gulf, having a well sheltered harbor; N. of Ephesus; beautified by Alexander the Great and Antigonus, and designated "the beautiful." The church here was one of the seven addressed by the Lord. Polycarp, martyred in A.D. 168, 86 years after conversion, was its bishop, probably "the angel of the church in Smyrna." The Lord's allusions to persecutions accord with this identification. The attributes of Him "which was dead and is alive" would comfort Smyrna under persecution. The idol Dionysus at Smyrna was believed to have been killed and come to life; in contrast to this lying fable is Yahshua Messiah's title, "the First and the Last, which was dead and is alive".

As death was to Him the gate of life, so it is to His people. Good "works," "tribulation," "poverty" owing to "spoiling of goods," while she was "rich" in grace (contrast Laodicea, "rich" in her own eyes and the world's, poor before Yahweh), were her marks. The Jews in name, really "the synagogue of Satan," blasphemed the Messiah as "the Hanged One." At Polycarp's martyrdom they clamored with the pagan for his being cast to the lions; the proconsul opposed it, but, impotent to restrain the fanaticism of the mob, let them He him to the stake; the Jews with their own hands carried logs for the pile which burned him. The theater where he was burned was on a hill facing the N. It was one of the largest in Asia. Traces of it may be seen in descending from the northern gateway of the castle. A circular letter from the church of Smyrna describes his martyrdom.

When urged to recant he said, "four-score years and six I have served the Lord, and He never wronged me; how then can I blaspheme my King and Saviour?" The accuser, the devil, cast some of the Smyrna church into prison, and "it had tribulation ten days," a short term, whereas the consequent joy is eternal (many Christians perished by wild beasts or at the stake because they refused to throw incense into the fire to sacrifice to the genius of the emperor): a sweet consolation in trial. Ten is the number of the world powers hostile to the church (Rev.13:1). Yahshua Messiah promises Smyrna "a crown of life" (of righteousness," 1Petrer 5:4 "of glory") in reward for "faithfulness unto death."

 Allow me to clear up some things before I begin. First of all you will hear me use the words Yahweh and Yahshua Messiah instead of God and Jesus Christ. I found out through the years that the word God may not necessarily mean the same to everyone. I personally like to use these words Yahweh and Yahshua Messiah. To me this puts me in a closer spiritual relationship with our Creator. I am not a so called Messianic Teacher! I come to realize that every time I inhale or exhale I am saying Yahweh. Try saying Yahweh and see if you are not inhaling and exhaling. After all we our created in His image!

In this week’s study, I completed the study on the Church of Ephesus in Chapter 2.  I go into a rant about the churches being ignorant of Yahweh’s Words and not following the Gospel of Yahshua Messiah. The fact that they are following the 2nd beast system of Rev. 13! I discuss the Greek word ‘pharmakeia’ (far-mak-i-ah) and compare this word to the government mandate of the Covid vaccine.  We read in verse 5 that if the churches continue to fall short of the expectations of Yahweh, He will ‘remove thy candlestick out of his place.” Other words cast them out of His right hand! I discuss the false preachers that teach false doctrines.

We see this all over America today! Churches falling away from that Love of Yahweh. The Churches aren’t teaching the Gospel of Yahshua Messiah any more. They follow after the traditions of evil.
This is a dire warning. Yahweh can judge sinners and send them to hell, and he can also remove even a local church, even one of the founding local churches. Loss of love, then, is very serious. Later Yahshua says that He may just spit lukewarm Christians out of His mouth. Yahshua said that in the end times the love of most would grow cold. 

Mt 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 

In verse 6, I share from Smith’s Bible Dictionary on page 447, the Nicola'itans  (followers of Nicolas). A sect mentioned in Rev. 2:6; 15, whose deeds were strongly condemned. They may have been identical, with those who held the doctrine of Balaam. They seem to have held that, it was lawful to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit fornication, in opposition to the decree of the Church rendered in Acts 15:20; 29. Then I explain who this Balaam is and the fact that in the Talmud, the Jews compare Yahshua Messiah to Balaam and declare that Mary the mother of our Messiah was a whore!
Don’t Compromise With The World, The Flesh, and the Devil. What we learn from this is that Yahweh hates anything that takes people back to their old sin nature. We as Christians cannot compromise with the world in the worship of pagan gods or in sexual immorality.  Yahweh said in the Ten Commandments that we are to worship no other Yahweh but Him and not commit adultery.

In this week’s study, I continue in verse 3, Chapter 2. 

In our last study, we were in verse 3 discussing of Christians not fainted ‘kamno’ or to work one’s self weary, be weary (or even sick). Other words, don’t make yourself all worked up over what is happening in the world around you. As a Christian, we have Yahshua Messiah within. And He who is for us, nobody can came against us, therefore we, as Christians, must rebuke those that hate Yahshua Messiah, whether they are republicans or democrats. If they hate Yahshua Messiah, who died at Calvary’s Cross to save the sinners of their sins with His shedding blood, we must rebuke them in Yahshua Messiah’s glorious name! 

In this study we discover:

Then we are to mark and avoid them. ‘Rom. 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. ‘

Have no fellowship with their works but expose them.  ‘Eph. 5:11 Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. ‘

Turn away from them.  ‘2 Tim. 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. ‘

Don’t even let them in our house. ‘2 Jn. 1:10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him Yahweh speed:’ 

Don’t Grow Weary. We must run and not grow weary and Yahweh will help us. ‘Isa 40:31 But they that wait upon Yahweh shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. ‘

Verse 4; Don’t Forsake Your First Love. When you love a person you give yourself to them heart and soul. But like in marriage, sometimes we forget how much zeal we had in our love for each other when we were first married. The Ephesians had left that love, being together in one mind, sharing together, and their zeal for the bridegroom, The Messiah. We must not forsake meeting together in fellowship and love. 

Heb 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. 

We must also not forsake the Lord because He may ultimately forsake us. ‘Jer 17:13 O Yahweh, the hope of Israel, all that forsake thee shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken Yahweh, the fountain of living waters.’ 

Don’t end up like those in Hosea 4:6 ‘My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God (Elohim), I will also forget thy children.’

But, be like those in 2Timothy 2:15 ‘Study to shew thyself approved unto God (Yahweh), a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.’

In this continuing study I take a look at the Rapture Doctrine. Is this a Pre-Trib, as taught in most mainstream Churches are do Christians go through the Tribulation Period? I compare Thessalonians to Matthew 24 along with Revelation. I venture into Paul’s writings to explore what he has to say, along with what Yahweh says in Ezekiel. I also ask the listeners to grab a pencil and paper as we create charts for comparison as we get deeper into this study. 

In this Part 19 I go in the Book of Ezekiel (EL Strengthens) Chapter 13 verse 14. So what does Yahweh tell us in scripture about those false ministers that teach their congregations to fly away?

Yahweh is made up of 4 letters. Quite shockingly the pictographic representations of those four letters also link directly to the person of Yahshua.

The letter ‘yod’ is represented as a hand. It means ‘a mighty work’.

The letter ‘waw’ is represented as a nail or spike, or tent peg. It means ‘to secure – or to save.’

The letter ‘heh’ is represented as a stick figure man, with his arms raised in amazement. It means ‘Behold!’ or to look upon’ and it occurs twice in the Tetragrammaton.

Taken these letters all together in the most ancient representations know to the Hebrew people, the name Yahweh declares: ‘Behold the Hand! Behold the nail!’

On the other hand, if we use the ideographic renderings of the letters, the message of Yahweh’s name reveals: ‘Behold! The mighty work that saves and secures.’

Keep in mind that all this has to do with the re-building of the 3rd Temple, in which Donald Trump is a key player in this rebuilding, who was put in power by the Global Elite, the New World Order, the Rothchilds Banking System. Note that the Rothschilds paid off Donald Trumps debts. His son in law and daughter are part of the cabbala elite!

This could be part of the plan of “the mystery of iniquity”. 

Let’s take a look at the Hebrew Letters Aleph and Tav:

Aleph = The original pictograph for this letter is a picture of an ox head representing strength and power from the work performed by the animal. This pictograph also represents a chief or other leader. When two oxen are yoked together for pulling a wagon or plow, one is the older and more experienced one who leads the other. Within the clan, tribe or family the .chief or father is seen as the elder who is yoked to the others as the leader and teacher.

Tav = The Ancient picture is a type of "mark", probably of two sticks crossed to mark a place similar to the Egyptian hieroglyph of, a picture of two crossed sticks. This letter has the meanings of mark, sign or signature.
