Modern historians do their best to disparage heroes like Stonewall Jackson--as they do with all Confederate History. This should not be the case. Jackson may have had his quirks but according to Robert E. Lee he was a valuable and successful piece of the Army of Northern Virginia. We honor his legacy. Also included in this episode is a brief historical story you may have never heard.

The book A South-Side View of Slavery was published in 1854 by a prominent anti-slavery Massachusetts pastor Nehemiah Adams. His recorded observations were both accurate and contentious--refuting the radical abolitionist narrative of the day.
