On February 15th 2022, a committee from the Utah House of Representatives favorably passed for further consideration a piece of legislation entitled H.B. 60 Vaccine Passport Amendments. In essence, the bill seeks to prohibit private businesses and public spaces from requiring a vaccine passport for entry or employment. While the spirit of this bill may be in good faith, it is still government intervention that encroaches on a private business' ability to operate as they see fit. Public spaces, however, are different because their very nature is nothing like that of a private entity. In this episode, I make the case as to why we should not support such legislation for private business.

H.B. 60 Vaccine Passport Amendments

This last week NYC mayor (or dictator) Bill de Blasio announced updates to the already insane mandates that have been put in place. Not only is he forcing all private businesses to be fully vaccinated, he has now decided that children as young as 5 years old are no longer allowed to participate in society without proof of vaccination. Unvaccinated children in NYC are now second-class citizens. In this episode I play the audio of de Blasio's announcement while adding some flavorful commentary.

What better topic for the first official episode than the controversial trial of Kyle Rittenhouse! Even despite the days worth of publicly available footage of the entire trial, people are still repeating talking points and lies that were thoroughly debunked in the courtroom. Using a year old Facebook post that has been resurfacing the last couple of days, I go through a breakdown some of the worst of these false claims.

This is a 20 minute introduction I made about a month ago but kept neglecting to get it edited, uploaded, and ultimately distributed. It's not quite the introduction I would like but I've already fallen behind on getting the podcast up and running so I figured it was good enough.
