On Episode 437 of The Unrestricted Podcast, host DreRawka sits down with teammates Talon Carvalho and Brody Gourson to talk about two very different stages of their MMA journeys — one beginning his professional career and the other building momentum through the amateur ranks.

Talon Carvalho recently made his professional Featherweight MMA debut at Fierce Fighting Championship 52, walking away with a submission victory. Talon takes us back through his amateur career, the decision to finally make the jump to the professional level, what it felt like getting his first pro win, and where he wants to take his career from here.

Then we're joined by Talon's teammate Brody Gourson, an undefeated 3-0 amateur MMA fighter originally from Thousand Oaks, California. Brody shares what brought him from California to Utah, why he chose to pursue fighting, the mentality behind his undefeated start, and what he has planned for the next stage of his career.

We also get into the grind of training alongside other hungry fighters, the transition from amateur to professional MMA, the growing talent in the Utah combat sports scene, and what both fighters believe it's going to take to reach the next level.

Two fighters. Two different chapters. One goal — keep climbing.
