Your hosts bounce back to the 1980’s as they discuss the movie TRANCERS (1984). Jack Deth (Tim Thomerson) is a cop/bounty hunter from the future who follows a master criminal called The Whistler who can hypnotize people into becoming zombie-like creatures back to 1985 to stop his evil scheme. Directed by Charles Band. It’s greasy therapy Unsane 1980s style.

Your bombastic hosts take on the task of talking about SOME GUY WHO KILLS PEOPLE (2011), a black comedy starring Kevin Corrigan, Barry Bostwick, Karen Black and Ariel Gade. A guy who was traumatized by bullies as a child spends a few years in an asylum (our kinda guy!) then comes home to live with his mom (Karen Black) and work in an ice cream parlor. His free time is devoted to drawing pictures of his tormentors meeting their demise — which was actually happening for real. Along comes Barry Bostwick as the town sheriff who investigates these grisly murders. And to complicate matters, the sheriff is dating Ken’s mother. This is prime Unsane therapy served with a scoop of ice cream, sprinkles and blood.
