Monday News Picks-China, Brian Stelter, and pointless news  The Military announcing it has uniforms for pregnant woman which prompted commentary from Tucker Carlson, and of course in light of that Brian Stelter had to weigh in with his pointless news analysis   We've got Jack Keane saying China can win in a war with the United States.  Brian Stelter continues to harp on Tucker Carlson as if he were in love with him.

Bonus episode. Review of my morning at the clinic and then we jump into HR1 entitled For The People Act. This monster of a bill is 790 pages and critics say it is completely destructive to what remains of our representative, Constitutional government. We take a quick look and discuss it. From a tiny sliver of Austin with electricity this evening I take a moment to discuss the death of Rush Limbaugh. I then briefly discuss the energy, water and infrastructure issue in Texas and the calls for more regulation, as well as the moves to pursue unconstitutional legislation while we're all distracted, such as gun confiscation.

Today's episode is short in light of the fact that we could lose power any time here in Austin Texas where due to a snowstorm the powers out all around us. I wanted to delve into several stories but I kept it limited to the following:  

Number one: the theme that trumps impeachment has been a distraction and the growing federal imposition on our rights during that time.  

Number two: Ron DeSantis, governor of Florida, and his response to the Biden administration punishing Florida despite the fact that Florida is doing very well comparable to states like California and New York even though Florida has an older and more vulnerable population.
