I'm Courtney Burton, and before I became a business owner, business coach, homeschooling mom of two, and a woman who's absolutely obsessed with her life, I was a bartender in a small Colorado mountain town, literally waiting for someone to walk through the door and discover me.

Spoiler alert: Nobody came.

In this episode, I'm taking you back to the beginning. From moving to Chile at 17 without speaking Spanish to risking our entire $6,000 life savings on a paddleboard rental business, I'm sharing how my husband and I started creating a life on our own terms.

We're talking about the sacrifices, the friendships lost, the judgment that comes with putting yourself out there, and the moment I sat in Mexico, pregnant with our second baby, and realized we'd actually built the freedom I'd always dreamed about.

You don't need to become somebody else to create a life you're obsessed with. Sometimes you just need to remember who you were before the world started telling you who you were supposed to be.

And sometimes? You just need to buy the fucking paddleboard.
