• July 08, 2018Episode 103 - They Broke My Heart

  Recorded July 8, 2018. With the World Cup down to the

  Final Four Josh has some soccer questions for Skip (2:13), including the

  origin of the England anthem 3 Lions and exactly how badly does Skip

  want an England win. In the NHL (17:57) there’s some listener mail on

  the Tavares signing, meanwhile things keep getting worse for the Habs.

  Its been twenty-five years since a Canadian team won the Cup. Which

  Canadian franchise has the best chance to break the streak? Josh also

  talks about how his heart was broken when his favorite player was traded

  (it’s not who you think). In baseball (31:03) Josh has a some more rule

  changes that could speed up the game.

• July 01, 2018Episode 102- I’m Going to Vomit

  Recorded July 1, 2018. In this episode Skip and Josh

  debate the correct criteria when voting for a league MVP (4:01). Josh is

  sick to his stomach over the announcement that Gary Bettman has been

  elected into the Hockey Hall of Fame (9:25). The only free agent signing

  of consequence in the NHL was John Tavares signing with the Leafs

  (15:11). How good can the Leafs be next season? Meanwhile, in the NBA

  its all about The Decision Part Three (22:28). Josh is full of things

  that are bugging him including tipping at restaurants. The guys close

  the show (33:28) by chatting about Tim Tebow and overpriced greeting

  cards.

• June 25, 2018Episode 101 - Does He Have His Driver’s License Yet?

  Recorded June 25, 2018. Josh starts the show all fired

  up about golf?! The guys discuss the NHL and NBA drafts (11:16) before

  focusing their attention on some of the big news in hockey: the secret

  John Tavares meetings, the Max Pacioretty trade that never happened and

  Barry Trotz’s new gig with the Islanders. Major League Baseball is

  contemplating some crazy rule changes (32:15) and Josh has a couple of

  strange injury stories. The show closes (44:23) with a World Cup

  question and a song of the summer update.

• June 16, 2018Episode 100 - Still a Work In Progress

  Recorded June 16, 2018. Skip and Josh celebrate their

  one hundredth episode by looking back at the first ninety-nine. The

  episode was supposed to be a look back at the show’s origins but Habs GM

  Marc Bergevin forced a change of plans with a controversial trade

  (5:27). Eventually the guys do reminisce about their favorite episodes

  so far (12:06), how they feel about having guests and discuss how the

  show got started. There’s also a special version of What Bugs Me

  (37:46).

• June 11, 2018Episode 99 - Why We Love Sports

  Recorded June 10, 2018. The champions were crowned in

  both the NBA and NHL. How did the NBA (3:02) manage to produce an

  exciting playoffs when the final outcome was a foregone conclusion? How

  did the Cavs hide LeBron’s broken hand until the Finals were over? Who

  are next season’s contenders? In the NHL (11:10) the Capitals proved

  everyone wrong and won their first Stanley Cup. While the series was

  only five games it was much closer than people think. The celebration

  after the final whistle reminds Skip exactly why sports is so great.

  There’s a mini World Cup (23:33) preview plus the guys try out a new

  rapid fire show close (30:30) featuring the contenders for song of the

  summer.

• June 03, 2018Episode 98 - It’s Not Illegal or Immoral, It’s Completely Insane

  Recorded June 3, 2018. The guys start the show by

  declaring a specific topic is now official banned. The NBA final are in

  full swing (3:41) with J.R. Smith providing some great entertainment.

  Duke will be coming to Montreal and Toronto this summer which reminds

  Skip to open the mailbag (8:01). Josh is not feeling great about the way

  the Stanley Cup Finals are going (9:03). Are the Golden Knights finally

  starting to feel the pressure? Also Brian Colangelo, Serena Williams’

  cat suit (24:34), the CFL on ESPN plus Skip’s soccer minute

  Recorded May 27, 2018. Skip and Josh start the show by

  discussing the drama in the NBA playoffs (2:09), Lebron’s greatness and

  why some teams just can’t win on the road. In the NHL (12:47), why have

  we had to wait so long for the finals to start? Is it really bad luck to

  touch the conference championship trophy? Cub is all in on Vegas while

  Skip is pulling for the Caps. The biggest story in sports this week was

  the NFL’s new penalty for kneeling during the national anthem (22:24)

  which caused the shows twitter feed to explode. The guys also have some

  recommendations (36:24) for podcasts, notebooks and

  pants.

  Recorded May 20, 2018. The Vegas Golden Knights are

  going to the Stanley Cup Finals (2:34). How have they defied the odds

  and made it this far? Skip has some theories on some of the factors

  contributing to their success while Josh makes it clear that he has no

  respect for the majority of NHL GMs. How will Vegas stack up against the

  Lighting or Capitals? Why is Tom Wilson running his mouth? In the NBA

  (19:30) Josh has a What Bugs Me, of course its related to the schedule.

  Skip doesn’t believe a team coached by Mike D'Antoni can win it all and

  that the Celtics-Cavs series is destined to go seven games. Josh put
