Some Bible passages don’t let you stay comfortable, and 1 Corinthians 10 is one of them. We sit down as pastors and walk straight through Paul’s warning that spiritual privilege can turn into spiritual presumption. Israel had real miracles, real provision, real closeness to God’s work and still collapsed into idolatry, sexual sin, and grumbling.
