So, if you go on the ole trusty internet and Google unsolved serial killer cases, the numbers are a little concerning.   There seems to be quite a few unsolved serial killer cases.  The reasons for these cases remaining unsolved is a mystery, some are just lucky, others are related to the decade in which they occurred and the lack of criminological scientific upgrades.  Others are related to poor police investigations.  Some cases remain unsolved related to just very strange circumstances.
