In 1954, 12-year-old Daniel Kenneth Wood Jr. vanished after leaving his home in South Gray, Maine. A mysterious phone call from a corner store 3 miles away, sightings of him in a maroon sedan, and strange leads clouded the investigation. Nine days later, Daniel’s body was found in the Androscoggin River, brutally beaten and bound. Despite multiple suspects, including a man connected to a similar murder, the case remains unsolved, leaving his family with unanswered questions.
