2. How to grieve and deal with disappointment. Just last year, Erin and Ryan went through a very challenging experience, a failed adoption. They walk us through their feelings of desperation, anger and frustration. Their breakthrough came when they stopped fighting the situation and realized that God was doing something greater in their relationship through the pain they were experiencing.

Meet Ashley and Naeem Fazal, Lead Pastors of Mosaic Church in Charlotte and Author of Ex-Muslim. Naeem arrived in the USA in 1990 from Kuwait after the Gulf War in 1990. His decision to follow Christ radically changed his life, his marriage, church and family.
They both share their fun story of how they met at the College of Charleston South Carolina and how their relationship developed from there.
Through their story is becomes very apparent that every individual comes from a culture that was shaped by their upbringings, family, friends, traditions and local community.
When a couple forms a relationship, the temptation is to try and blend the two and make it work. But the Fazal's chose to form a third culture, one of their own! There is so much for you and I to learn as we continue to form a new marriage and family culture around what God is calling us as a couple to.
Learn and enjoy!

How would your spouse rate the depth of your relationship conversations? 1-10 ___
How would your spouse rate the level of affection in your marriage? 1-10 ___
How would your spouse rate the satisfaction level of your sexual intimacy? 1-10 ___
Which answer surprised you the most, why?
“Let the husband render to his wife the affection due her, and likewise also the wife to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does. And likewise, the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. Do not deprive one another except with consent for a time, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again so that Satan does not tempt you because of your lack of self-control.”
